Contract Check

Rebecca McAllum, founder of Jan Juc Legal, personally reviews the website terms or client agreement you wrote yourself, pulled from a template, or had AI draft.

A high-level written summary flagging risks and any legal considerations worth noting.

For people who've been DIYing their legals, usually with AI, and aren't sure what they've actually signed up to. You also get a short personalised video from me walking you through it, including what the Australian Consumer Law means for your business. An overview, not a clause-by-clause review. You decide what to do next.

Other business contracts

Documents outside the list above are quoted separately, generally from $1,700 + GST, because they need more context. Rebecca has found that, in most cases, it is more cost-effective to have an agreement professionally drafted than to try to fix a DIY version. Submit the form anyway and I'll reply with a quote.

Any work after the check, including amendments, redrafting or negotiation, is extra and quoted before it starts. If the advice recommends a redraft and you decide to go ahead within 60 days, the $700 comes off that. There's no obligation either way.

Who reads it

Rebecca McAllum

For the last few years I've focused on helping small businesses, founders and start-ups get their legals into shape, then supporting them as they grow. I know that early on there often isn't the revenue to invest in proper legal support, so you make do with a template or AI. It might feel like a sensible place to start, but it's not sensible to stay there. This is your first step towards getting it done properly.
